You won’t actually get a chance to get your hands on purple tokens in Spider-Man PS4 until you’ve made your way through a bit of the story. All Research Stations will be marked on your map upon completing the mission Harry’s Passion Project. This mission is unlocked as you progress through the main story. The last step will be to move to a marker and press R3 to scan the fish to make sure we have prevented an outbreak. Players just starting the game won’t actually have access to Research Stations.
