September 2021

SongMecca is Born

After more than ten months of working on this site in my spare time I decided to tell people about this project. It was met with much enthusiasm and within two weeks we acquired over 1200 new users!

The following weeks

Guidelines are Developed

New policy is written to protect the copyrights of published sheetmusic. A guidelines page is written for SongMecca authors to encourage properly written and typeset music.

Working On

Small Things

The user interface of the website is being optimized as we obtain user interaction data. We are working on a search by vendor page and the song details page is getting restructured slightly.

Email Updates

User’s that have signed up for new song notifications will soon start receiving those emails.

A Little Later

Projector compatibility

We hope to build a library that receives your purchased sheet music and displays them in a format to project on a wall for group singing.

Down the Road

Mobile application

Hopefully one day we will have a mobile application for IOS and Android that takes this website’s concept to the next level of mobility and convenience.
